Charlie Brown – VP of Support Services – 38 Years

Charlie’s journey with Cresswood began shortly after high school, following his service in the United States Army Reserves. He started as a certified welder, eager to put his skills to work and quickly expanded his knowledge in various areas, from the machine shop to maintenance. As Cresswood’s industrial shredders evolved, so did Charlie’s expertise. He took evening classes in industrial electricity to better support the company’s growing needs, eventually becoming the Field Service Manager. Charlie is dedicated to ensuring that Cresswood’s American-made industrial shredders perform optimally, both in the field and in the office. His dedication to excellence and his passion for solving problems have made him an invaluable part of the Cresswood team. When not on the job, Charlie enjoys spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, blacksmithing, and repairing things.

Bill Torrance – Service Department Manager – 22 Years

Bill’s career at Cresswood began in 2002, where he gained experience in the Assembly and Shipping departments before transitioning into the Service department. Over the years, he has traveled across the country to perform maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls of Cresswood’s world-class industrial shredders. As the Service Department Manager, Bill continues to ensure that every customer gets the help they need, maintaining the high standards of service Cresswood is known for. Bill’s dedication is rooted in the belief that the best way to solve customer problems is to be knowledgeable and hands-on. Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and supporting local non-profits.

John Gilbreth – Inside Parts Sales & Support Coordinator – 11 Years

John’s passion for the industrial shredding industry began back in 1992 when he met the owner, Jack Cress, and learned about the impact Cresswood’s American-made industrial shredders had on the market. For over 11 years, John has been a key player in providing parts sales and support to Cresswood’s customers, ensuring they have everything they need to keep their world-class industrial shredders running smoothly. John thrives on helping customers find solutions and is proud to contribute to the success of Cresswood’s operations.

Ashanti Rainey – Building Maintenance – 9 Years

Ashanti values the culture of Cresswood, which he describes as a second family. With nine years of experience, Ashanti has witnessed the incredible power of Cresswood’s equipment, particularly when he sees a stack of pallets transformed by one of our world-class industrial shredders. One of his most memorable projects was overseeing the installation of the Messer cutting system, a challenging but rewarding task. Ashanti loves watching the raw materials come together to create Cresswood’s powerful machines and is proud to be part of a team that manufactures industrial shredders that set the standard for excellence.

Tony Morales – Customer Service Field Technician – almost 2 years

Tony thrives in Cresswood’s collaborative and supportive company culture, where teamwork is valued, and everyone’s contributions are recognized. As a Customer Service Field Technician, Tony plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing Cresswood’s world-class industrial shredders in the field, ensuring they continue to meet the high expectations of our customers. Tony appreciates how Cresswood fosters a positive environment where team members share ideas and work together toward common goals.

Erik Hernandez – Customer Service Field Technician – almost 1 year

Erik was drawn to Cresswood by the opportunity to grow and learn new skills, particularly in servicing the American-made industrial shredders that are known for their quality and performance. Erik values Cresswood’s strong community involvement, from volunteering to donations, and feels fortunate to work in a place where helping others is a priority. He enjoys the variety of his work, as no two days are the same, and he always has the support of his colleagues when tackling new challenges in the field.
