The incline conveyor to the right of our grinder delivers smaller scrap pieces into the hopper, the full size pallets are dumped into the large opening on the front of the hopper. The ground material is augered out from the left side of the grinder onto the second inclined conveyor. 3/4 way up that conveyor the metal fragments are removed via the crossbelt separator mounted atop it. Then the clean chips are dumped from the conveyor into the airlock system. This delivers the product to the tall truck load out on the far left side, you can see the tube extending from the backing board that the trailer will back up to.
